7th Pay Commission: Good news has come before Holi for lakhs of employees of the country (Central govt employees). The increase in dearness allowance of central employees and pensioners has been approved in the Modi cabinet meeting. After getting the approval in the Union Cabinet meeting, now the account of the employees has increased by more than Rs 27000. DA will be 42 percent
According to the information available from the AICPI index, the employees will get the benefit of increased DA from January 1, 2023. Till now the employees were getting dearness allowance at the rate of 38%, but after the increase of 4%, now they will get the benefit of 42% dearness allowance. Explain that the dearness allowance is calculated on the basis of AICPI-IW only.
Salary of these employees will increase so much
According to Zee News, an increase in salary can be announced soon by the government. If the salary is increased, then the salary of the employee getting 18000 basic salary will increase by 720 per month, that means there will be an increase of 8640 on annual basis. On the other hand, if the salary of the employees is 56900 per month, then their salary will increase by Rs 2276 every month. In this way, 27312 salary will increase on annual basis.
Good news will be received before Holi
If the report of Zee News is to be believed then Prime Minister Narendra Modi can announce it before Holi. After Holi, the Finance Ministry can issue its notification. The increased dearness allowance is to be paid along with the March salary. Employees will also get arrears of 2 months. Let us inform that before this the DA of the employees was increased by 4% in July 2022. If this time also 4 percent increase is made, then dearness allowance will reach at the rate of 42 percent. This will benefit central employees and pensioners.
