Along with wheat, the increased temperature can also affect other crops and horticulture.

If the temperature is around 35 degree, farmers can take support of light irrigation.

Due to the presence of moisture in the fields, there will be less damage to the crop.

At the same time, if the mercury reaches close to 40 then trouble will arise for the farmers. In such a situation, there will be a huge loss to the wheat crop.

The Ministry of Agriculture has constituted a committee to monitor the effect of increase in temperature on wheat.

Inflation will increase if the yield is affected

Let us inform that the grains of wheat crop ripen in the second-third week of March. Then its harvesting starts.

This time, due to the increased temperature, wheat grains will ripen in the first week of March itself.

Due to this, the yield per hectare is estimated to decrease by 5 to 10 quintals. The temperature which used to be in the month of March is the same in the month of February.

Additional expenditure will have to be incurred for wheat crop.

To save the crops from the scorching heat, spraying of medicine will be required along with irrigation.

Even after this our productivity will be affected. Due to this, inflation will also increase.
