Ladli Behna Yojana: (Bhopal). Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ on his birthday (Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Birthday) on 5 March. On this day ‘Shiv Vatika’ will be made in all 413 urban bodies. 23 thousand 360 saplings will be planted in Shiv Vatika. Giving this information, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that 64 years (23 thousand 360 days) of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s birth will be completed on March 5. It has been decided to plant 23 thousand 360 saplings on this occasion. Saplings will be planted in all urban bodies from 8 am.

Minister Shri Singh has instructed Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Neeraj Mandloi to complete all the preparations for plantation to be held on March 5 within the time limit. He also reviewed the preparations. During this, Commissioner Urban Administration and Development Bharat Yadav and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bhopal KVS Chowdhary were present.

Urban Development Minister Shri Singh said that saplings will be planted on priority by women in Shiv Vatika. He said that planting saplings is the biggest birthday present for our Chief Minister, who is dedicated every moment for environment protection and promotion. The preparation for planting saplings will start from March 3. Plants of local species will be planted on priority.

This eligibility to take advantage of the scheme

It is worth mentioning that in the recent meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, the approval of the Council of Ministers has been received. Married women of the state between the age of 23 to 60 years will be eligible for the benefits of the scheme. An amount of Rs 1000 per month will be deposited directly into the Aadhaar linked bank account of every eligible woman during her eligibility period. If a woman below the age of 60 years of a family is receiving less than Rs. 1000 per month under the Social Security Pension Scheme, then a provision has been made in the scheme to supplement the amount up to Rs. 1000 by giving that amount to that woman. .

Must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh (Ladli Behna Yojana)

To take advantage of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana-2023, it is necessary for the woman to be a local resident of Madhya Pradesh and to have completed 23 years of age and below 60 years of age as on January 1 in the calendar year in which the application is made. Apart from married women, widow, divorced and abandoned women will also be eligible for the scheme.

These women will not get benefits (Ladli Behna Yojana)

Such women will be ineligible in the scheme, whose family’s self-declared annual income together is more than two and a half lakh rupees, whose family members are income tax payers, whose family members are employees of central government or state government departments, Employed as regular or permanent employee or contract employee in Undertaking, Board, Local Body and getting pension after retirement. Such women will also be ineligible, who themselves are receiving an amount of one thousand rupees or more per month in any scheme of the Central Government or the State Government, whose family members are current or former MPs / MLAs.

These women are also not eligible for the scheme

Such families whose any member is the chairman/director/member of the board/corporation/mandal/undertaking nominated by the Central or State Government, those women will also be ineligible. Such women will also be ineligible in the scheme, whose family members are elected public representatives (except deputy sarpanch) in local bodies. Similarly, whose family members jointly own more than five acres of land or have four wheelers (including tractors) registered in the name of family members, they will also be ineligible.

Applications will be received online (Ladli Behna Yojana)

All applications in the scheme will be received online free of cost. Apart from this, if the beneficiary gives the ‘form of information required for the application’ by being present himself, then arrangements have been made to enter the same on the online portal. In the financial year 2023-24, under the scheme, the amount will be deposited in the account of about one crore women beneficiaries at the rate of Rs 1000 per month.

Forms for the scheme will be available at the Gram Panchayat/ Ward Office/ Camp site. The woman herself has to be present. Photograph of the woman and overall Aadhaar e-KYC will be done. Data entry will be done in the portal/app at the information available in the form. Aadhaar linked bank account will be verified. On successful registration of the application, the applicant will get an acknowledgment on which the application number will also be mentioned. Payment of the amount in the scheme will start from the month of June.

Get this work done before camp

Women and Child Development Department has advised to go to the kiosk before the camp and get Aadhaar e-KYC done in Samagra, which is done free of cost. If the woman does not have an independent bank account in her own name, then she will have to go to the bank to open an account and get her bank account linked to Aadhaar by visiting the concerned bank’s kiosk. Along with publishing the provisional list on the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana-2023 portal, it will be displayed on the information board of the Gram Panchayat or ward office.
