Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Sushri Shobha Karandlaje and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shri Modi said that today the whole of India has received a big gift from Belagavi. Another installment of PM-Kisan has been sent to the farmers of the country from here on Monday. More than 16 thousand crore rupees have reached the bank accounts of crores of farmers of the country with just one click, such a huge amount was transferred in a jiffy, no middlemen, no cut-commission, no corruption, this is Modi’s government, Pai Pie is yours, it’s for you.
There are 80-85 percent small farmers in India, now these small farmers are the priority of the government. So far, about Rs 2.5 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of these small farmers. Deposits have been made, in this also 50 thousand crore rupees. More money has been deposited in the accounts of our mothers and sisters who are farmers. The Prime Minister said that since 2014, the country is continuously moving towards a meaningful change in agriculture. We are connecting agriculture with modernity.
In 2014, the budget for agriculture was Rs. 25 thousand crores. Was, whereas this time our agriculture budget was Rs 1.25 lakh crore. is more than We are connecting more and more farmers with Kisan Credit. Our government has always kept the interests of sugarcane farmers paramount, in this year’s budget also an important decision related to sugarcane farmers has been taken. We have started the PM PRANAM scheme for the farmers, through this the states which reduce the use of chemical fertilizers will get additional help from the Centre.
Shri Modi said that our coarse grains are capable of withstanding every season, every situation and it is also more nutritious, so in this year’s budget, we have given a new identity to coarse grains as Shree Anna. Looking at the future challenges in the country’s agriculture, we are determined to bring life into it. The Prime Minister said that today’s changing India is doing development work one after the other, giving priority to every deprived.
Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Tomar said that when Prime Minister Mr. Modi talked about increasing the income of the farmers and called upon the country for this, then the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was also formulated by the government, due to which the farmers are being helped continuously. . This is the world’s first innovative program. Such a large number, such a huge amount, is directly deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers, it does not happen in any other country in the world. It is a matter of pride that till now Rs 2.24 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of about 11.5 crore farmers. The Prime Minister transferred and today Rs 16,800 crore. The 13th installment has been transferred to the accounts of the farmers.
